This restaurant and Face Rock State Scenic Viewpoint can be both really attractive for tourists. At this place people can delve deep into delicious dishes, and degust nicely cooked crab cakes, smoked salmon and fried oysters. Tony's Crab Shack offers good fruitcake. Delicious wine, beer or ale are worth trying here. This place has great tea among its drinks. Sitting on the veranda, you will enjoy a great view. The cool staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Enjoyable service is something that visitors highlight in their comments. Average prices are to be expected at this spot. Amazing crab cakes, and the sandwich was beautiful too! Fish tacos were good. The decor inside was so on point, it made the meal feel cinematic. Hot sauce was delicious. Had a quick lunch here - crabs were fresh and full! Clam chowder was great, grilled oysters fantastic and the white wine clams amazing 😍 lobster roll not bad either, but I'd go for the crab! We sat outside as we had a dog, but they gave our dog water and a patty - so sweet! Usually hit Tonys in when I'm in Bandon, however the last time I was there and ordered a whole crab ($44.50) I got one with a tiny claw, and I mean TINY. see the attached photos. I put the regular claw next to it for comparison. I asked the staff if I could get another claw and they said "no the crabs come as-is". When you charge $44 for the crab, I would think it's a reasonable request to get a crab with all the typical edible parts. I was disappointed with the response. Loved my lunch here! We shared a seafood platter and the clams and crab were excellent. The chowder was one of my favorites I’ve tried on the coast so far and we’ve sampled many. The baked oysters were also perfect. I don’t love raw oysters so these hit the spot. Fish Tacos were the best, I would highly recommend them to anyone. Clam chowder nothing spectacular, wife said it tasted pre-made like it came from a can or bag. All the staff we encountered were very busy and very attentive to all of the guests. I was looking forward to the crab sandwich for a while and wasn’t disappointed. The bread was fresh and the crab was sweet and succulent. I was surprised that the crab was cold, but I had the sandwich with hot crab later and I wasn’t able to taste the crab as much. Tony’s sandwich was so good that I didn’t even talk until I was done. Lovely small character spot right on the boardwalk. Great crab and delicious chowder. Fabulous looking oysters. We managed to grab a table inside while it was raining. Phenomenal food and such a great experience! The lobster rolls are off the charts and the Dungeness crab and chowder is mint. I never liked chowder before I ate at Tony's; even bought a shirt to remind myself of the place. From a travelling Aussie thanks so much guys for a great experience and the mint food. Had a great lunch here. Highly recommend getting there early or bring a coat to sit outside! This place can get busy. Nice selection of local beers to accompany their vast seafood menu. We had our kids with us and they had plenty of options to choose from. The staff was super friendly and engaged. Highly recommend the lobster sandwich and the side of chowder. We will return when in Bandon!
