Seeing the reviews of late, I decided to try this place out. Started with a California Roll, and a Rattlesnake Roll. Cali was a tad small but good flavors, but it was the Rattlesnake Roll that was amazing! The mesh of flavors and textures was like nothing I have had before! Needless to say I was expecting the Yakisoba to match the first impression. What a let down... I truly hope that what I got for this dish was a chef's Mistake, but the vegetables and the chicken both looked and tasted like it was burned to a crisp. Literally, I could taste charcoal in my mouth. I don’t normally review places but I need the company to understand that $8 for a “veggie roll” that is simply romaine lettuce is ridiculous. Also $9 for veggie tempura which uses old/chewy asparagus is a shame. Please consider this criticism to make the experience better for the next person who looks forward to eating your sushi.
