Just drove 2 1/2 hours from Whitehall, MI to enjoy this pizza. We used to drive an hour, but recently moved and now, well it is a “destination pizza“. Thin crust with a crisp bottom. Sauce is clean with just the right amount of garlic. Cheese is perfect, great chew. Salads are wonderful too, the best Caesar dressing. Only complaint is that there isn’t a location on the northwest side of the state. Thanks See you again, SOON !!! I pass this place a few times a week so I Googled it and decided to give it a try. My first impression wasn’t good. The prices advertised on the wall menu were all higher than on the Google menu. And the difference wasn’t insignificant so I told the guy taking the order by law they had to honor the lower price on Google since it is advertised. He had to call the manager at home to get an answer. She told him they don’t honor the price because her store doesn’t take part in it and she has tried for years to get it dropped. I’m not sure if she can do that but I will look into it. I got a pizza ($8.00 on Google $14.00 in store and on Yelp). I also chuckled at a sign hanging at the counter advising customers “that every employee had an open checkbook to satisfy every customer at any cost with no red tape.” That didn’t work after call. Excellent food. We are from out of town and this place was suggested to us. They did not disappoint. They do have other than ordinary pizza, so the variety is limitless! Highly recommend! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

This is the worst pizza buffet I can remember going to in my life. They have 16-20 pans of pizza sitting out. The first couple slices I took must have been made yesterday. They were cold and the crust was hard. Not crispy. HARD. They open at 11:00 and I got there at 1:00. I didn't want to touch slices and contaminate them with my fingers so I had to resort to touching the heating plates they were sitting on. The smaller heating plate worked but the larger one didn't. So basically 60-70% of the pizza just sits there getting cold for hours. I was thinking they must waste 13 or 14 pizzas a day, but I'm not convinced after my visit that they throw any of it out. The pizza that was still warm was mediocre at best. Pizza ranch is better than this and their pizza isn't particularly good. Jack's frozen pizza might be a step up from this. Salad bar was pretty good. The ingredients seemed fresh and they had a wide variety of toppings. I would compliment the service because the cashier was nice and polite, but that's a low bar to clear. The guy bringing out clean plates just put them on top of the other ones even though they were still wet. I'm supposed to put pizza on a wet plate? Take some pride in your job! I ordered a pizza at 9:15 pm with a pickup at 9:30 pm. I arrived right on time and my pizza was ready. I was worried about this because most of the time when a pizza is sitting in a hot box for a while, it really hurts the crust. That was NOT the case this time. This pizza was PERFECT, I cannot begin to tell you how good this was. I wish this place was close to my house, I would order at least once a week, it was that good. I was hoping based upon the reviews that it was going to be good, I just never imagined it would be as good as it was. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in town. WONDERFUL!!! Great pizza, been a while since we ordered pizza and ate it there fresh. We got the Naples sampler (class with mushrooms). Every single ingredient was fresh and flavorful. I felt the white was my favorite, followed by fresh mozzarella, red, and green. However, my friends felt green was the best. Will be back again! Walked in and wasn't greeted and asked if we seat ourselves and the young lady in the front stated "yes." The beginning portion of this building is carryout the back has several tables and a hand full of booths. Our server was kind, but a little unsure if he was new to serving or if that was his style. We ordered a Naple Sampler which I highly recommend and the "world famous cheese bread." I love the fresh garlic 😋!!! Overall the place can use an update but the new haven styled pizza was pretty good! Definitely recommend a try! Old time looking decor couldn't tell if dining room was meant to look older or not, but it's not a bad dining room by any means. Ranch is home made and a bit watery for me I prefer thicker ranch but still good flavor we got the sampler pizza which all 4 styles were good pizza was a little floppy my fault for not asking for well done so no harm no foul there. Also got the cheese sticks those were good and the addition of the chunks of real garlic was an awesome touch I wasn't expecting.also got a small red cheese and that one I asked for well done which was better much less floppy. That is the way to go asking for well done. Drinks are coke fountain or faygo cans and 2 leiters. Service is pretty good nice and attentive.
