A-mazing. I go here every other week or so, and it never disappoints. Everyone is so kind as well- just the kind of environment you want a restaurant! As soon as I ate my first slice of pizza, there were no more competitors. This pizza is simply the best. Called in order at 5:45pm yesterday (3 pizzas, 1 salad, 1 bread). After 10 minutes on hold, agreed to delivery in 2 hours. Called back at 8pm after no food. A different employee asked manager who stated pizza was out for delivery (but did not know which driver had it). Called back again at 8:30pm after still no food. Another different employee stated it was still out for delivery, but should be to us in within 10 minutes. Called back at 9:15pm after still no food. A another different employee determined that order was actually somehow lost, never produced, nor never went out for delivery. Order was then refunded. Not too great of an experience. Consistency is the key with this place. Tasty thin crust coal oven pizza! Pasta is good as well. No frills. The sorta pasta you eat at someone’s grandma’s house. The chocolate cake/pizza is pretty darn good! I think Portnoy rated it too low. I grew up in Queens and Jersey and this is pretty solid. Great service as well!! Very friendly. So, you know how you see reviews of restaurants that are 5 stars across the board and think the person rating it was exaggerating? More often than not, that is true, but not in this case! This restaurant was, without a doubt, some of the BEST artesian pizza I have had in a while! My companion and I went there on a whim, and I am so glad we did. The restaurant was quaint and cozy but had a great family feel to it on top of being really clean and inviting. The first thought that popped into my mind when i walked in was that i HAVE to bring my family back for pizza night! The staff was friendly, patient, and accommodating. They have a wonderful salad bar with top-notch veggies and condiments, and come on, who doesn't love a great salad bar?! We opted for the Naples Sampler... WOW is all I can say. It really is a tour that I can't wait to take again! Each piece was a delightful, delicate but robust sensation. We ordered the small which came with 8 pieces. 2-White ( fresh tomato, garlic, mozzarella cheese and basil), 2- Green (mozzarella, spinach and garlic), 2- fresh Mozzarella (mozzarella, red sauce and basil), and 2- classic (cheese, red sauce and a topping of your choice). We stuck to just cheese and red sauce, no extra topping. Topped it all off with a nice big and fresh salad! And all of that great food for just $25! YOU. CANT. BEAT. THAT! I could rave all day, but all I can really say is if you are in Farmington Hills, you MUST give Tomatoes APizza a try! You won't be disappointed. Went here on Friday afternoon for lunch. They have thin crust pizzas. We ordered a large garlic bread and a large veggie pizza. The service was quick and the kids enjoyed the pizza. The pizza did dry up and became chewy within 20 minutes. I have eaten better pizza before but as kids liked it will definitely try them out again. They also have an all you can eat buffet which includes pastas and pizzas. We did not take that option, so cannot comment on that. Great restaurant for family and friends! We went for dinner around 4pm on Sunday. It was empty. Around 5 pm it was packed! Sad moment for gluten free people NO gluten free pizza. My family said the pizza was fantastic! They seemed to enjoy each bite. The pizzas are also HUGE. They had a regular salad bar, with lettuce, cheese cubes (mozzarella), onions slices, protein you had two choices salami and chicken breast cut into cubes (that's what I ate). The salad portions are HUGE when you order off the menu. Protein is not included so you have to ask, it's extra. Our waitress Margaret was nice and friendly. It's a clean place and well decorated.
