Love the history and love this diner is known for! I took my dad who’s not vegan and he enjoyed his beyond burger and fries, while I had a Reuben with the tasty spicy kale salad. They have a bearable and tangy house made hot sauce that I Ferser took to go. We ended our luncheon with a chocolate cake slice and berry bar. Thank you so much for such homey and delicious comfort food:) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I guess vegan diners just aren't my thing. The atmosphere is cool but the food wasn't as great as I was expecting based on the reviews. Many of my family members ordered the Ruben. A few liked it and one hated it. I tasted it - not great but not horrible. I had the roasted sweet potato. I expected something like a baked sweet potato similar to a regular backed potato. What I got was some Chilli with sweet potato pieces. It was tasty I just didn't think it was as described or very filling. Not so into their beverage selection. Service was ok. Food came out fairly quickly but we kept having to ask for the basics - silverware, napkins etc. I get what they are trying to do and can imagine for some this place is a dream come true.
