1st time visitor - Stopped in in a Wednesday night for dinner. Big screen had the Cubs-Chisox game on. Bar was crowded, the food smelled great. Sat myself and was quickly greeted by a very efficient, friendly waitress. She brought drinks quickly and I decided on the 3-meat BBQ sampler plate. Wow! Really good! I'll be back for sure - lots of other menu items I want to try.

Had a need for a small funeral luncheon, and didn't want the usual beef, chicken, mostaccioli. Decided to have it at Chuck's. Everyone enjoyed the Economy Package of smoked chicken, pulled pork, mac/cheese and cole slaw. I DID forget to tell them I wanted to choose soup rather than salad. And Chuck's soups are the absolute BEST. The girl in charge of arranging the funeral lunches, Maria, is a little meek and quiet. When people are doing funeral duties they are not thinking as clearly as they normally would. I wish she would have asked me if I wanted soup or salad. No big deal, I'm sure that if you express yourself better than I did you will be completely satisfied. Maria and Chuck's still are 5🌟.

Waitress came to table, brought first round of drinks, then never came back. I went to bar to place another order and bartender, Josh I believe, got upset questioning me about where my waitress was...I said I did not care and just wanted to order. He got in a huff, slammed beers on bar and walked away.... I can now see why we were the only people over 21 in the bar... I guess wrong time to stop in????

I liked it. Service was slow as hell but it was a special night with a packed house. In 4 hrs I was offered drinks twice! Lol but I'm sure it was just the volume of people there, overwhelming the staff. I'm not into blackened food.. but if you are this place is great.

Great service and good food. I got the pork tenderloin po boy which had perfectly chewy bread and soft, tender meat. The sides I had, mac and cheese and the coleslaw were fantastic. The beer selection was also very good.

Great food and beer selection, staff is always on point. One of my favorite bbq places in the state.
