We were in Palm Springs on the way to Indisn Welks tennis tournament. My husband and I were invited by the owner to try their food. For dinner we ordered Schnitzels , one chicken and one pork. They were delicious and tender. Big portions, like we used having in Germany. We were so glad we had chosen this restaurant. We came back next morning fir breakfast. It was also great. The owner gave us an advice of her favorite food and we were so happy we ordered it. We are looking forward to dine there again in the future. How do you spell perfection? Lox Benedict at Thirsty Palms! Finely created artisan craftsmanship, beautifully presented and expertly prepared with egg yolks that flow gently over the layers of lox, thinly sliced red onion, and delicate green arugula. Capers are scattered on top in a bow to the lox. Hollandaise is exactly right, delicious and creamy. Side greens are dressed with a light dressing that has just a touch of tang which enhances but doesn’t distract from the Benedict star of the show. Service needs guidance. Smiles and genuine interest would be helpful. As a Benedict fan, this so far outclasses the several other restaurants I’ve tried here, even the ones with long lines waiting.
