Really great place to go in Elkin to relax, with drinks, live music, and usually a food truck or two. Live music is almost always good. The design of the bathrooms are really cool, and so is the design of the rest of the place.

Wonderful outdoor beer garden. Nice selection of beers and wines. They even have special drinks for dogs. Beer cups to go are available to enjoy strolling through the historic district during permissible hours. There is also a fire pit.

Fantastic little beer garden! Really more of a large, shaded yard of one of your friends. They have great yard furniture. Good trucks rotate. Good beer selection. The employees are super nice. Will help you find something that you will like. This is when I have a new favorite hangout spots in Elkin. The shading trees make everything hear cooler than the weather says.

Lovely Sunday day trip spent in Elkinnat Railyard. The lawn has lots of comfortsble seating with chairs or bring ur blanket. Family friendly. A food truck only. This one not good for vegetarian but my partner enjoy steak and alfredo container. People seemed to enjoy the beer/wine bar. Tiny house bathroom was very neat and clean. A lovely place for a Sunday day trip. Enjoy. peace

This fairy tale/rustic outdoor spot is perfect for unwinding and relaxing with a cold craft beer or savory glass of wine! The locals are delightful and laid back and the overall atmosphere is relaxing. I would highly recommend if you’re in the Elkin area to check this local spot out!

A power outage has us looking for an open place for a beer. These happy people kept the beer flowing! It's been a long time since I used cash, but they actually knew how to make change!

Amazing bar! Amazing atmosphere! Love Mitzi and Virgil! They have done such an amazing job creating the perfect space for downtown Elkin! They will continue to be an asset to the area. Whether you are looking for a relaxing Thursday afternoon or a lively Friday night with Food Trucks and music, The RailYard is the place to be! Thanks to Mitzi, Virgil and Donald for being amazing hosts every time! I look forward to many more visits at The RailYard!

I'm impressed with this new venue. Seems like the folks have the right idea and the momentum to get it done. This will be a great spot to hang out and have a beer for most of the year. Looks like the west end of downtown Elkin is becoming a place to hop around. Harry's, Fruition. Railyard. Nice.
Happy to have another place where hard to find local NC craft beer is on tap.
