First time at the Nickle Plate. Went there after Joy to the Grove. It was crowded and we only waited about 10 minutes for a table. Our server was fantastic! Despite being very busy she was very friendly and made some recommendations for us. Started with pretzel rails and they were great with the beer cheese dip served on the side. For the main event I went with the PB&J burger. AMAZING! It was a "real" burger, not frozen that had crunchy peanut butter and a spicy jelly on it along with some great seasoned bacon on a great roll. Came with pickles and chips or fries. Needless to say I mopped it up. Others had the tenderloin sandwiches which were also fantastic. The outside had a Christmas venue outside with a fire and small food items. Just a great place.

Pretzel Rails and Beer Cheese
My daughter and I went here for dinner tonight. I don’t recall the man’s name that serviced but he was so pleasant and so kind to my daughter. He talked to her like a normal person and even gave her a chocolate bar. The food was also amazing and their fall drinks delicious.

This place is understaffed and every single item I ordered I got something else. Order my first beer, it's out, ordered another, we forgot, got the first beer, a complete cup of foam. Told it was free, I just wanted a beer I could drink. Not sure how a free cup of foam makes up for it. Said give me a Genesee in a bottle, got a Guinness. Order a ribeye, got a fired shrimp basket. Finally got my paper thin dollar general ribeye. What a joke. Don't come to this place after the park, you will be disappointed.

Really wanted a beer after visiting Knoebels amusement park and this was right up the road at the golf club (all also owned by Knoebels).
We sat at the bar and the bar tender was super nice and friendly. She did a fantastic job of taking care of everyone even when it started to get really busy.
Decided to stay for a bite to eat and got the frickles (fried pickles) and knotty crabs (garlic knots with crab sauce). We were SO impressed by the knotty crabs. They were absolutely delicious and worth coming back for. My boyfriend got the reuben and was raving about how delicious it was.
We will definitely be back sometime and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area to check it out because the food was fantastic. Loved it.

We have gone here for lunch twice now. Ate outside the first time and inside the second time. Wait staff are friendly, environment is clean. It was a bit loud when we ate inside. You can sit at a booth, a table, the bar, or outside to eat. Portions are generous without breaking the bank.

Our server Emma was fantastic. We are Mainers and the seafood dish was delicious, and priced excellent. Will definitely me a new go to when we are visiting PA.
