I had my wedding reception here. Picky NYer here, getting married in Lviv was unexpected and turned out being beyond amazing because of this restaurant. The decor is romantic dark moody however it’s lively as well. The entrance is pure camp, a very fun and light experience everyone, including myself, loved. The restaurant is incredibly chic. Old world/ Masonic symbolism/ not themey though it has a specific direction style-wise. The food was beyond spectacular. I had 17 guests -soldiers- and they couldn’t finish the enormous amount of food given. We had the most delicious meat, game, fish dishes as well as vegetables, fruits, cordials, cocktails I had during my 2 weeks of fine dining here in Lviv. Seriously. This place is the deal. The service was top notch- thoughtful, perfect pace, genuinely friendly. From the top- the restaurant group management, restaurant managers, waiters, bartenders- it was on par with fine dining in New York City. And big thanks to all for pulling off my wedding reception beyond my expectations or hopes. I can not say enough praises about this class act/ home run of a restaurant. If you go to one nice restaurant when you come to Lviv come here. The food is shockingly inexpensive and delicious. I posted several pictures of the Masonic themed interior which reminded me of my fraternity chapter room. The historic center of Lviv is filled with restaurants and cafes for every taste. This restaurant is hidden away and not easy to find. Information about it is passed by word of mouth. I am telling you: be sure to come here. When you knock on the door, a man in an old robe will open you and let you into his apartment, where his pets live. And if his rabbit accepts you, he will allow you to open the old door. You will find yourself in a chic restaurant with great music. You will be greeted as a dear guest. When we received our food and drinks, we realized that people who are in love with their work work here. Thanks to all the restaurant staff, we are in love with this place.
