This place is classic. Step back into 1969 when you enter the Loft. It’s a bar like bars used to be. If it’s open, it’s crowded but don’t worry too much, the people here are super friendly and if you look hard enough, or stay long enough, you’ll eventually find a place at the bar.
They have a long list of beers on tap and pour the drinks strong. Found just steps beyond the Okemo base lodge, this place is a winner no matter the season. Delicious food, cold drinks and great service make this place a personal favorite.

This place was splendid I ordered the wings and they were everything you could hope for in a wing. I rate wings these wings were just perfect they gave me more enjoyment than my wife. The creamy buttermilk ranch and the soft but tender first bite writing this review make my mouth water. And they give you the perfect amount of wings, I have never seen a place that gives you an extra bowl to put the bones in. In conclusion they were kind of messy but that would never stop me for eating these tender savory chicken wings.

We walked in, tried to sit at a table, and the bar back yelled “eh eh eh” at us. When we asked why we couldn’t sit, he simply told us to read the sign they had on the wall and ignored our questions. After about 3 minutes of standing at the side of the table while waiting for him to return to clean it, we asked why again, and he said “it’s simple” and again refused to answer our questions. We left after that. Turns out that on the sign, it says that there is a charge associated with sitting at dirty tables. Among other “discretionary” charges like telling the bartenders it’s your birthday. This great guy couldn’t take 10 seconds out of his day to explain that to us. This is the worst I’ve been treated anywhere that I’ve been in recent memory by restaurant staff. 40-year old bar back with the ponytail in case you go.
