I’ve had food from The Little York twice recently. The first time I had a smash burger and sat by myself at the bar. The burger was awesome and the servers were very friendly, so I was excited to try another meal. This time I picked up a chicken parm and fries to-go. I’m sure the to-go element of the dinner caused some of the problem, but the food was not kept warm at all and the sandwich really creeped me out. It was a gigantic, barely breaded piece of rubbery chicken. In my opinion, chicken parm should be made with thinly pounded, tender cutlets that are battered, fried and very crispy. This was the opposite of that. Anyway, the burger was so good that I’ll go back for that, but I would never get the chicken parm or any other chicken dish. On a separate note, the restaurant does not share their WiFi password with patrons and there’s virtually no cell reception. In 2023 you cannot have a bar in an area with barely any phone service, like Little York, and not have WiFi available to customers. Not a particularly welcoming or safe policy. Update 3 Months Later: Downgrading my review to 1 star. Ordered a large pie half plain, half pepperoni, well-done. Was awful. Bland, greasy and very expensive. I asked for a well-done pie and it tasted as though it was nearly raw dough that was cooked in a microwave. All of the cheese was separating under pools of grease, the sauce had no flavor at all and the whole thing was essentially uncooked. I will not be going back to the Little York again. Been here a few times and I can’t say enough nice things. Friendly friendly service. The owner walks around to make sure customers are satisfied. The staff is prompt and polite. The food is local, always fresh and prepared well. You can get local beer here, including seasonal beers. It’s exactly what you hope for when you go out to eat and want to have a nice time. The Little York is unbelievably good. My husband and I tried the broccoli cheddar soup, buffalo wings, a steak for him, and a smashburger for me, and we just could not believe how good everything was. Quite possibly the best burger I’ve ever had. And the prices are great, and the servers were all so kind and friendly! We will definitely be back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This past weekend we hosted my baby shower at the Little York and I couldn’t have been any happier! The staff was phenomenal! Carly was so easy to work out all the details with. She was very quick and responsive with all my questions. I wasn’t stressed about anything. I left the food decisions up to Carly and her husband and they did not disappoint! Everyone, and I really mean everyone talked about how amazing the food was. The team even went out of their way and even made caramel apples! I honestly could go on and on about the food. When it comes to the staff who worked the event, Melissa and Mikah were absolutely amazing. From drink service to keeping the tables bussed and free of old food plates, they were on top of it. Thank you so much to the whole Little York team for making my baby shower a success!!!! I couldn’t have asked for a smoother, easier event from start to finish. Have never had a bad meal at the Little York. In fact, we like them so much that we get catering sides for Thanksgiving and Christmas there the past two years. We have gotten meatballs - don’t get them warmed up. I stopped several times to eat a meatball on the way home. In addition we have gotten the lasagna and penne vodka. One request that they probably don’t get very often for catering was their dessert. The chocolate strawberry shortcake is one of the best. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food is very good. Service is exceptional. The staff makes you feel at home, and they went out of their way for me to get an order to go together even though their kitchen had just closed. This is one of the best places to go in the area. Great pizza as well as entrees. Some of the best staff I've ever met anywhere and always a great time! The burgers, both smash and regular, are the best! If you're ever there for the rodeo burger special, I highly recommend. May be the best burger I've ever eaten!! It has been a long time since I visited the Little York. Wow, is it fantastic! The food, the service, the people. Try a Ribeye. Their steaks are better than most "Steak Houses".
