I love Fam Dog! It was the first restaurant I went to when I first came to UMaine and constantly return. Their brunch menu is delicious! However, I like to get the xolo chicken sandwich. They have gluten-free buns and are pretty good with allergies, but they have a shared fryer for fries. They also have really good ice cream, milk shakes, ciders, sodas, etc! It is a bit pricey, but entirely worth treating yourself. I get the same sandwich every time and it never disappoints. Best dogs I've had! All the food here is fresh and delicious. The local beers are great. The atmosphere is open, spacious, and bright; a great place to go with a group of people, or if alone, to take a window seat and people watch. The people that work here are also friendly and knowledgeable. Always feel good (and full) coming here!
