Got there at 2:30pm and discovered they don't open until 3pm. If you get there early, I suggest stand by the door because on our visit at about 10 minutes before 3pm there is now this huge crowd, almost 100 people surrounding the front door waiting to get in! We were seated pretty quickly and the host brought bread too. The food was pretty good. We liked the bread but would have also liked something not as sweet and regular butter. Half slab of ribs was good, it measured about 9 inches. I could only eat 1/2, and meat juicy falling off the bone. Pulled pork has BBQ sauce mixed in it already, but not so heavy that you can still taste the meat. The grilled mushrooms were a little too oily and salty for my taste. Our waitress was excellent! Appreciate the staff's attitude here. The bread is offered as soon as I step into the store and get the seat. I would try the Dallas filet, the house salads and the sweet cheese corn. The filet I got was the medium-well instead of the medium as I ordered. I told to staff, they gave me another filet of the medium very fast and asked me whether I am satisfied. Thanks for doing that. By far the best prime ribs my husband and I ever had, so juicy just melts in your mouth 🤤. And porterhouse steak 🥩 medium rare came out perfect 👍🏼. Oh, don’t forget their fresh out of the oven rolls 🥖, so good. Place is nice and clean. Service is great and fast 🙌. Went on a Thursday night and it was busier than we thought it would be. Overall the food was good, but we had a couple misses. The sirloins were a little over cooked and kinda tough. We had the ribeye and a porterhouse at the table as well and those we cooked and seasoned perfectly. The ribs were ok - tough in some spots and fall apart tender in others. Sides were all great except the Mac and cheese. It wasn’t seasoned at all and just overall lacked flavor. Drinks were about what you’d expect. They weren’t bad tasting but heavier on the sugar items than the liquor (typical chain drinks). The standout was the service though. We had great service the entire time we were there. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Overall it was a good experience, but price to value just want there for us so it’ll probably be a while before we head back.
