02/03/24, 3:20 pm. This bad review has nothing to do with the food. The food was, and always, has been great. This is about the lady who works the front register. I'm not sure about everyone else, but I don't like going to a business, where I'm about to spend a decent amount of money, and the first words out of the employees mouth is "yea." How about, "Welcome in. What can I get for you?" If I wasn't running a little bit behind before work, I would have let her have it. This is not the way I was raised. It kinda shocked me. I thought I was on camera, about to be punked. This will definitely be on my mind next time I'm thinking about food to take to work, and will definitely turn around and leave if this lady is working the register. I gave 4 stars, which should have been 5 stars if it weren't for the lady at the register. Delicious! I worked a BBQ restaurant for 8 years in the past and this place was amazing! The service was top notch as well! Thank you we will definitely be back. Highly recommend the brisket, coleslaw, and the spicy sauce! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

First time here, not the best bbq I’ve had but refreshing. Their spicy bbq sauce was the best I’ve ever had if you enjoy sauce. Their “moist” cut brisket was dryer than Buccees brisket, and the ribs were just “ok” but very greasy. To be fair, I went later in the day and it was slow hours, it just seems like their food was sitting under a hot lamp. Will be back on a weekend, hopefully my experience will be better. What a great choice for a stop to eat. Wasn't sure if it was open, not many cars in lot. It was. We ordered and wow, the food was awesome. My bbq sandwich had mac and cheese on it. I forget the name. Tasty, juicy, tender bbq sandwich. Definitely would stop here again. Place was clean. Service was great. This place is why Texas rules the bbq world. This place is a hidden gem! From the outside, you would not expect the inside. The food is absolutely amazing! Hot and fresh! The service is great. I'm so glad they pulled up on my search for a restaurant in the area.
