Mexican cuisine under the direction of the great chef is gorgeous at this place. The unique characteristic of this restaurant is serving perfectly cooked oysters, BBQ ribs and rib steaks. From the visitors' point of view, ice cream is tasty here. It's a must while visiting Tex Mex South to order delicious whiskey, wine or liqueur. Clients don't highly appreciate coffee at this place. Live music is performed by musicians in the evening. The cheerful staff welcomes guests all year round. The cool service is a big plus of this spot. Good prices are what you will pay for your meal. At this restaurant, people can enjoy the enjoyable atmosphere and terrific decor. Based on the guests' feedback on Google, Tex Mex South deserved 4.3.

We visited on NYE. The restaurant was packed and hence we had to wait a little for our order to be taken, not a problem since we were going to stay till midnight anyways! The food was delicious. I had a small issue with my main course ... the staff were very prompt to apologize and resolve the problem in no time at all without coming up with excuses nor arguments. Kudos to being extremely professional independent of their workload and pressure due to the large number of patrons. Keep up the excellent service. We were excited for some real Tex Mex food, but disappointed with what we received. My wife's "brisket" wasn't of the seared then slowly-smoked variety, it was more like a pot roast, and the gravy had an interesting flavor we couldn't pinpoint. I had the angus beef fajitas, and some of the beef was tough and fatty, but everything else about the fajita was good; I would order the chicken fajita next time. 70 Euro for lunch also seemed expensive, as we only had 1 beer and a bottle of water to drink. The food was good and even the service. We loved it and will surely return. We were there on a Wednesday night for the Majjalata and the food was good even when we asked for a second round. Thank god the singer was there for the ambiance ( and he was good) other than that, 30 min wait for the « classic burger » soooo dry, the meat was VERY well done, the bread was falling apart ( probably frozen) little sauce. And then about to leave the waiter messed up the table and the cashier( really nice and pro) had to re do our check.
