After a long walk around St. Joseph Catholic Church, come to this restaurant and have a rest here. You are offered to eat tasty catfish, chicken and bacon. Teresa’s is the perfect town eatery that has grown to meet the size of its customer base. I dare say it started in a small shop size area and is now in something the size of a four car garage. They have done well for themselves. The food is not assuming. It is exactly as described and is quite good. At our table we enjoyed every single bite of bacon strips, sausage patties, scrambled eggs, home fries, biscuits & gravy, bacon & cheese omelette and toast. We enjoyed fresh water, decaf that was actually quite good and a Diet Coke. In a big city this would have run us $35 + tax & tip, easily … and been half cold. This food all but ran to the table hot and came to a grand total of $20 + tax & tip. The waitstaff cannot be nicer. So all together = Sold! Try to keep us away next time we are in the area. My first time eating at this Bowling Green staple, and it was such a good meal. Teresa’s is a no frills, stick to your ribs country style diner. If you are looking for food fusions and small plates you won’t find it here, but what you do find is a bustling restaurant with generous portions and southern classics. We went for breakfast, where I got the Teresa’s special. The hash browns were crispy, biscuits fluffy and the fried bologna was a high point in the meal with a perfect sear. Decided to get a pancake on the side, which was a nice little treat. Service was friendly and the food came out hot and quick. All in all a wonderful way to start the day. It may be helpful to know that for a small fee you can update a side to a baked potato. That made a difference to myself and my wife today, when we went here for their very delightful meatloaf, and wanted a baked potato as a side. This should be a no brainer, but meatloaf and baked potato go hand in hand, but that being said, you at least have options at Teresa's Diner. Just ask. #terasasdiner. Oh wow! We ate here for lunch and it was really good. I ate some of the best BBQ I have had in a long time. And I'm from Oklahoma. Service was great and the lunch crowd was rambunctious but in a good way. Nice to eat where the locals go. Highly recommend.
