5/5. Guava pastry is insanely good. The empanadas are made from scratch and they remind me of my mom’s from when I was a kid. The coffee was refreshing. If you’re reading this and you’re still wondering if you should come by and try this place then you’re wasting your time and should just come by already. Before I eat all of their empanadas myself. It was my first time stopping by after seeing a lot of good reviews. Very laid back, cozy vibe and everyone is so friendly. The coffee and empenadas were delicious. Breakfast here was a highlight of our time in Ventura. We each had a breakfast bagel sandwich with chimichurri and aji. They were so flavorful and wonderfully filling for a day of hiking. We also split two empanadas which were divine. The owners were so friendly and we loved looking at the local art on the walls. I truly wish I could transport this cafe back home.
