Amazing bakery and cafe. Their food is very good. And if you need a cake, even without gluten or lactose, there is no place better. My girlfriend had the vegetarian burger and it was simply amazing! If there was any negative, it is that they are so busy during lunch to keep the good service up, that they don't always see a table that got dirty in the back. Excellent service and food. I can't speak Swedish, but the cashier easily took my order in English and was very patient with me. The truffle burger and the korv were delicious, as was the cake. There's lots of indoor and outdoor seating, with partial view of the lake. I highly recommend this place. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Really nice place. Beautiful barwindow with sweets, sandwiches, homemade cakes and bread. Sad about the girl at the cassa, she was not educated enough. I don't speak Swedish, soit was quite difficult for us to understand what was available. For the buffet, hot and cold, the menu of hot dishes etc. But it is not a mistake of the girl but of the owner. 5 stars anyway! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person kr 100–200

Good place for fika and features Östersund's longest set lunch hours. Good brewed coffee. Hearty Schnitzel set.

We stopped for a quick tea and I must say they had the most rude waitress ever. It was almost comical because I swear I had never seen before such level of rudeness. At one moment I thought she would just throw my tea to my face. I don't know if it was because the place was clearly understaffed or she just simply didn't like my face, but this place (Tages konditori) has made it (with honors) to the top of Swedish restaurants with angry waiters. I will never go again for sure.

Food is really good, prices are a little bit higher than the average in Östersund. Daily lunch alternatives are not always those I want to eat.
