Went to grab a bite here, and was not disappointed. The portions were decent and prices fair! Would definitely pop back in again! The waitresses was polite and engaging as well. The cooks were a lil greedy with the guacamole but ni modo!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Honestly, after trying several Mexican restaurants, this is one of the very few, where the tacos are real Street type tacos, they're very well prepared. The restaurant is very clean, I loved it. Congrats to this place, I look forward to seeing you again shortly. Update: I've gone twice again and my opinion has no change, GREAT TACOS, GREAT RESTAURANT, GREAT PEOPLE. Let me start off by saying the customer service was great. Our server came to our table multiple times to make sure that everything was good, which I appreciate. The food came out pretty fast, but it did not affect the quality. The food was very flavorful and it over exceeded all of our expectations. If you’re looking for great Mexican food don’t skip this place they won’t disappoint. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Hands down some of the best tasting meats in the Pasadena area, still savoring the delicious Trompo . We ordered the Friday special which included two beef tostatadas , a very nice portion of menudo & a drink;all for 10$ ! We also ordered the" Monterrey 400 " which came with a very generous portion of both beef carna asada and Trompo ,grilled onions , asadero quesadilla cheese topped with avocado and HOMEMADE corn tortillas . Additionally we ordered a side order of rice and a chips with queso which was delicious as well/ CHARROS ARE FREE .(TOTAL COST 40 $ FEEDS 4 ) All and all I rate Tacos de Julio a 9.5. The .5 deduction is because I have to agree with some of the bad ratings listed. Our waitress was great but seemed overwhelmed. I watched my food sit there for about 2-4 minutes until finally a man who looked like he may be a manager came and told one of the girls to bring it to my table. Note:I seen three girls standing in the front many times just talking while our waitress was busy trying to keep up .The team was present but no TEAM WORK. DELICIOUS FOOD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND ! THIS PLACE IS SOOOO GOOD! We ordered for lunch today at work and I’m so happy. The tacos are so flavorful, I got trompo and tlaquepaque, meat was delicious, salsas are good and had a little spice, green enchiladas were good and very full of chicken, and I don’t even like beans and both the charro and refried beans my order came with were AMAZING and had so much flavor. Flan is not bad! The prices are unbeatable also so definitely try this place out if you’re looking for a great meal! EDIT: We ordered again today because it was that good. Pros: Best Tacos de Trompo! (Trust me I have been around) Tacos de Barbacoa are amazing Tacos de fajita are okay nothing special They give you good size bowls of onions, Cilantro, & Frijoles Charros Cons: $2.20 per Taco is pricey Torta is not good dry, and berly and tomato and avocado -----Overall Next time I would order just Pure Tacos! they are great 👍 worth my 15 min drive

We used to love coming here and supporting this local business but their food lately has been trash. My asada julio literally taste and looks like carne seca. They gave us lemons instead of limes and the lemons are going bad. So horrible that this plate of food cost 15 dollars for such mediocre food. Get it together guys nothing is ever consistent. The charro beans looked like they were finishing and just through water in them horrendous!
