I saw a video in Instagram for Taco Co. and had to go. We had such an amazing time. The food was delicious. I had the chicken and waffles tacos and am still thinking about them the next day. 5 of us had the margarita flights. The only one we weren’t fond of was the pineapple margarita. Food was delicious!!! The tree leche cake was surprisingly good, some times the tree leche is a fail. The chicken and waffle taco had a great taste but side by side birria was better. The tequila shrimp was delish!!! Only critique- the waitress was really slow, she’s new and I know speed will come with experience. I will definitely be back for the street corn and birria tacos. We visited Taco Co for the first time after hearing they had recently reopened under new ownership. I didn’t realize how large the restaurant was, and I thought it had a nice vibe inside! Some unique taco choices like Big Mac and chicken & waffle tacos that were delicious, and we liked the birria too. The steak burrito bowl was tasty and the tequila honey shrimp was also very good. My fiancé loved his caramel apple margarita that the staff recommended to us (it’s an off menu item but they’ll make it if you ask!) and because I don’t drink, they offered me a refreshing hibiscus mocktail. My wife and I are Margarita snobs. We were so impressed with the quality of margaritas at Taco co. Every margarita personally crafted to your liking. No premade mixes or low quality ingredients used here! Great menu, friendly attentive owner. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed! PS under new management!! Great food. We were traveling stumbled on this place. Service was amazing and the owner was active with all guests. The pork belly tacos had a great balance of flavors Oysters were so fresh and had the perfect amount of heat and salt. They surely came back with a bang. New owners and new updated menus. Drinks were spot on. Good service, great food with quality product. Chris, the owner took time to say hello and made sure every guest had a great time and felt welcome. It is a new gem in the town.
