Give them a Break guys Brand new store and everyone's learning. The Customer service is great food is also very good there will be a few mistakes but maybe you should let them know and then they can make it up to you because they absolutely will. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

I've been here a few times over the last several weeks. Here's a few thoughts on this new Taco Bell to Basehor: People seem overly frustrated by the kiosks. They're really not difficult to use and I prefer them a lot to McDonald's. I think what would help to bridge the gap between someone taking and order an the kiosk would be more attentive staff. I don't think it's they're fault but maybe getting used to this new location. But, when someone walks in, "Welcome to Taco Bell!" would probably lower frustration from customers really quick. Also, watching the front counter would be good. It feels cold to simply interact with a kiosk with no interaction from staff. Also, it's strangely quiet, almost sterile. There's no music going, and the staff are super quiet. I like the Taco Bell but they'd be killing it here in Basehor with some friendly greetings and staff asking if they can be helpful at all. The only reason they got a 5 for atmosphere is because it is a brand new building. This business is set up to be completely self-service. They will not come up to the counter unless you call for them. For dine in or carryout orders You are required to place your order on a kiosk, with no help available, and can pay by card at the kiosk or cash at the counter. I chose cash payment. After submitting my order I stood there and waited, and waited and waited. No one ever came to the counter to collect and no food. After 2 people got their food that had ordered a while after I did. I called for someone to come to the counter and asked where my food was because I had already waited for more than 15 minutes. I was told that the order had to be paid for before being started but no one ever came to the counter to get money and there is no sign there to tell you that you need to yell to get someone to just take your money. I waited for over 30 minutes to get $35 worth of food. And $35 worth of food was 2 burritos 8 taco's and 2 drinks. An elderly woman had also came in and I helped her place her order. She ended up walking out because she was so discussed with the lack of customer service. She said she would not be back. I as well don't plan on going back but I most definitely plan on writing a letter to the district and regional managers because a coupon for a free taco with my next order doesn't even come close to compensating me for the time I spent there and the lack of customer service. If this place doesn't do something drastically different soon I don't think they will be open very long. This is an older community with a lot of retired and elderly people.
