I was just traveling through my hotel was close by so I thought I would give it a shot. I really enjoyed the food here. The Service. was excellent. I would recommend it.

What a local gem of a spot. Got the chicken kebab plate (to go). They’re generous with sides, and the chicken, tomato, and onion were brilliantly charred and perfectly spiced. Hummus was rather good. Pita left some to be desired, felt like it was just pulled out of a package. If the pita was fresh and warm, this would have been 5 stars. We always pick up and take home delicious chicken kabob and kefta plates. Garlic potatoes are also very tasty. I'm not even sure if you can sit down at the Taboon Express we go to. I’m so so sorry for all those that miss out on this little gem tucked away in this little strip mall cause you’re certainly missing out on some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in ages. Superblylicious!!! The place is small and very unassuming and in fact I thought I had walked in the wrong place if not for the yummalicious smell of the food in the air that had pulled me further in…my son picked this place out but I’d been wanting to try it for several months. I had the Lamb kabab dinner my son had the steak and then ordered a chicken kabab on the side. They were so delicious and tender I will order all 3 again. Yep. All THREE and share. Oh oh…the Garlic potatoes are off the rocker. So Ah-May-Zing! One order is enough for 2 people. But let’s talk hummus…seriously let’s talk. I love hummus and they do hummus. 5 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ for the hummus. So to recap we ordered the kabab dinner which are served over a huge bed of fluffy flavored rice with a grilled onion and tomato, huge serving of hummus ❤️ plus pita bread, salad, pickled spicy onions and the best garlic dip EHVERRRR! They have wraps, bowls and all kinds of items. The food is done right and I’m already planning to go back this week. They have 2 other locations. The one in Long Beach is a larger restaurant that is a larger dine in serves wine and beer. Going to try there too. Chicken is good. Rice was salty. Maybe from the seasonings and juices from the chicken sitting atop of the rice. Salad was ok. Overall, I've had better. Very small place.

Delicious food! I got the falafel and chicken skewer bowl, which was a good portion for the price. It's a small store so dining in may not be as fancy as a large restaurant, but the workers are very nice and there is a pleasant ambiance. What a great place for a family dinner! Healthy, delicious, authentic dishes cooked to perfection. We tried it all… meats and vegetables. Thank you to Taboon hard working team! Everyone is so nice and welcoming. Take out dinners are great on days you don’t want to cook. Sooooo good!!!

First time at this restaurant, the food is absolutely delicious I got the lamb chops with mixed rice and a salad the pita bread is amazing aswell. The workers were absolutely so sweet and quick with the cooking to perfection. No need to find another mediterranean spot this is definitely the best here!!!
