On Friday evenings 21:30 there is an opportunity to enjoy a traditional maltese dance performance, music starts already at 19:00, but make sure you reserve a table in advance. Traditional maltese family owned restaurant is nice to try different maltese culinary delicacies, e.g. horse meat stew, rabbit etc. There are also plenty of options for vegetarians. The food was amazing! Prices were reasonables and the portions of food was huge (I would recommend to share it with someone)😍 We tried rabbit and it was totally worth it. Nice real Maltese experience. The service, staff and the owner go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. The food and the Maltese folklore show on Friday was a nice addition to my Malta trip and the prices are reasonable for that 5 star service + place. Highly recommended. What a lovely place! Finally visited with a friend on holiday from abroad. Excellent from when it came to booking to entertaining! Food choice is extensive and delicious, entertainment lively but not annoying for the patrons. This restaurant was excellent. It is in a small village on the country side and the service is impeccable. Locals working there for more than 20 years. Live music and shows a few days a week. They recommended to share a lot of dishes and it was perfect. The fried ravioli was delicious and rabbit platter also. We couldn’t finish our plates because the portions were huge. Totally worth to come and pay a visit. We even got some traditional dessert and a limoncello on the house. The sad part was the espresso martini. Amazing! The service is amazing, staff is friendly + professional + warm hearted. The atmosphere is so nice, we went on a Saturday night and enjoyed a beautiful live band (really nice lead voice + base guitar, amazing). Food: we tried some local dishes like the Lampuki Pie, the ravioli with ricotta & the rabbit (see pictures), apart from the side dishes. Warm food, very well and uniquely cooked, not spicy and very tasty. Highly recommend it :) Special thanks to Belinda, who really helped us in what to choose in the menu, made us comfortable and welcomed. For those who want to taste traditional Maltese dishes, this is certainly the restaurant we recommend! Ben welcomed us by telling us his story, an activity that has been handed down from generation to generation that today has managed to combine tradition with contemporary tastes. I assure you that the food is all fresh and the products are all local. The food differs a lot from what's out there! It is not very spicy and therefore manages to satisfy all the most demanding palates. Very nice location, with very professional staff! Strongly suggested for a Saturday evening, with live music, or for a Sunday lunch with the family. We will come back soon!
