My calamari was fine. The fish-and-chips was marginal at best. The two paper thin little fillets were dry and tasteless and had obviously been re-fried before being plated. The ends were no longer white inside but grey and hard. The batter was hard, not crispy and rather tasteless. Chef really needs to get lessons in doing a decent beer-batter. Chips usual frozen bulk fare and not nice home cut and fried. The meat dishes did look quite good. The veg soup looked very re-heated as the leeks and celery were cooked flat. The pork skewers seemed fine. The peanut sauce had split on the plate and tasted generic and not made on site. The serving ladies were very attentive and were tipped accordingly. With the summer temps we had to ask that the door be opened next to us, which they then did. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

First time here. Was not disappointed. Did not reserve a table ( which could have been a mistake as it was very busy) Staff are very friendly and helpful and found a table for us..Menu very good, you can have the meal of the day, starters, main and dessert. I opted for the chicken soup and spare ribs, chips, and salad. Both were wonderful. Best spare rids I've had in years. Parking spaces at the restaurant. Is wheel chair and people with mobility disabilities friendly. Dogs are allowed. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ordered: Hamburger special Friendly staff and good food. The hamburger buns tasted a bit dry. The overall burger would have tasted better if they grilled the buns too. That being said, the fries are thick cut with a nice crusty exterior

Was nearly turned off by some of the comments on here and TripAdvisor. Glad we tried it. Very friendly staff. We are English visitors, there was an English menu and everyone spoke English. Good choice of food, clean and very pleasant surroundings at a great price. Sure it lacks ambiance, think typical Chinese restaurant. But if you want ambiance try the place a couple of doors up, at twice the price.

This place serves Indonesian, Chinese and local snacks, quickly and for good prices. You can take away and enjoy the seating area. Good and sufficient parking spaces (50+)

Nice enough atmosphere on a warm sunny evening (sitting outside), but inside wasn't especially welcoming and the portion sizes were a little disappointing - compensated by massive portions of fries. While it wasn't necessarily the fault of the restaurant, we were also made to feel somewhat uncomfortable by a family 'gawping' at us for most of the evening. Is it really that unusual to see a British family holidaying in the Netherlands?
