Surya is very nice restaurant. Its attraction is of course food but the neatness inside the restaurant is very remarkable. Very spacious and the colour of furniture and its layout gives an elagant look inside the restaurant. If you are a book lover, they have few collections in the entrance for customers to buy. Surya is located in Aluva adjacent to NH 47 so, you can enter to their parking slots easily. Most of the special foods and refreshments are available there. If you have time while passing this way, just get in and experience their tasty foods. I am sure, you will love this place. 😊 Take parcel too for your loved one. Pathetic!! Till the pandemic this was one of my fav spot.but today i felt like everything has changed!! Nthng but the worst. The food were not tasty,they forgot to add sugar in lime juice, tandoori chicken was not even coming out of the bone. And the worst part,the ppl to service us were staring all the time till we hv done with the meal.So Pathetic!! We went in as a group of 6 for lunch and it was moderately busy. The staff was friendly and attentive and since we have been here before, our order was chicken Biriyani ( probably the only disappointing dish, tasted like pineapple pulav ), the mixed fried rice, beef fry, chicken kothu porotta, karimeen, the pineapple juice and the lime sold were all well prepared. The fact that the washrooms were not easily accessible for the elderly due to the 41 steps/ two floors without an elevator was annoying and disappointing. The hygiene level of the washroom in terms of odour, no tissues or functioning hand dryer made it worse. Overall, the food and staff seem good, but the rest could be better.
