This was our first visit to Super Shack, but it won’t be our last. Our food was delicious, and we loved the Mexican flair. The shrimp ceviche and frozen margaritas gave us great Caribbean vibes. We also highly recommend the fish tacos and shrimp pasta. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This place is a ripoff. Most of their prices are like if they're fine dining and the food lacks flavor. Their $20 entrees don't include coleslaw or hush puppies. The fish and fries are bland. The boiled seafood is pricey for it to taste like they weren't seasoned. Also you tip for no service. Never again. It is a great place for a relaxed atmosphere…. I usually sit & eat at the bar because the staff behind the bar are fun to chat with!!! My go to meal there are char-grilled oysters!!! So good!!! There guava margarita is really yummy too!!! The only downside is the cost, it’s a bit more expensive than I like, but I like what I get, so it’s worth it!!!! Over all a really good experience. The bartender was great. She was getting ready for the dinner rush but made sure I was good. The governador taco are perfect.. good portion at a good price… the raw oysters were not the best.. don’t really recommend.. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I had the Fried Catfish and Shrimp Combo, which also came with fries. The batter used was fantastic. This is probably the best shrimp and catfish that I've had in McKinney. However, both the catfish and french fry servings were wafer thin. Each bite of catfish tasted like 80% batter and 20% fish. (Same with the french fries). While the flavor was great, the thinness was disappointing. I'm not sure I'd recommend this place based on the thin servings, but I'd go back and eat there with friends/family if they wanted to give it a try. I was out and about and didn’t get a chance to eat today so decided to treat myself to lunch! I was in the area and seafood sounded amazing so super shack sounded pretty awesome. It is right off of 75 and a pretty unassuming restaurant. Plenty of options, seafood and not. You order at the bar, get a number and they bring to the table. Decor is rustic seafood shack vibe, complete with painted palm trees. The servers were friendly, and the food came out piping hot and quickly. I opted to do the seafood bowl which had crab, shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn and went with the Cajun seasoning for the recommendation of the server. It was served in a large stainless steel bowl, and a plastic bag, full of awesomeness, served with a side of drawn butter for dipping. I certainly couldn’t finish it all but thoroughly enjoyed all of it, would definitely recommend this place for some down home, unfussy seafood. Great sport for seafood with a Mexican twist!! Family owned spot, great customer service and food is made with care! I had a great meal and the guy helping us was super nice. Dec. 31st 4-5 pm Super place ! Food looked like the pics on the menu , impressed with menu on wall , everyone was very helpful , but especially the cashier , he described the food when we asked questions and was very personable. Food runners were quick to help, almost like if they were waiters . Lady picking up plates took care of us right away . TV’s all over the place …Good place for Sports watch party ! Tables are roomy .
