Stopped in on a weekday morning for brunch and cheerfully greeted by waitress. Received prompt service and helpful recommendations. Food great,pricing for portion served excellent, took leftovers home for meal the next day. We came down on the off season and most places were closed, but we found this place. They had some great lunch specials which were only $10. The portions were generous and it was all really good. I had the Buffalo empanadas, which were amazing! They also served breakfast all day, which was a nice option. We’ll definitely be back.

1ST AND LAST TIME-Black Friday we decided to goto The Cafe for breakfast ,Seated immediately as we were the 2nd table of guests (the place was empty which I was fine with) The waitress (younger thin woman,long dark hair-She was very Friendly and probably the only thing good about this visit. The food- 1st I want to point out many hands touching the toaster and bread and doing other stuff with their hands so I wasnt excited about that food handling practice (and toast is not buttered in the kitchen they give you cold/Dry toast and provide you with single serve butter packets/jelly at the table. So I got the veggie omelet (I kept on greeting Big chunks of raw green pepper *Maybe Sautee them 1st Or even cut smaller would help take away that Crunchy Raw veggie mouthfeel among Warm egg) I got maybe 4 bites in and got to all of this Slimy Raw egg I was instantly Turned off and it was forks down 4 me.. My husband got the Sausage gravy & Biscuits (but no biscuits avbl so he opted for putting it over homefries. Its sliced sausage (coined) cooked sausage *not crumbled* the Gravy had Zero flavor (use crumbled sausage and add the drippings to your gravy) so that was taken off the bill as he took 3 bites (we are not the people to send food back or have it remade as I dont trust anyone when you complain about their 1st round of food) The building- dirty window sills,(fans were off) You could see a thick layer of dust on the ceiling fan blades,dirty windows we sat inside next to the 3 windows) I almost left my business card,Maybe they just need a good cleaning company.? 🤷🏼‍♀️ IDK I was Very disappointed and unfortunately we wont be back (not that they care but it is what it is) Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

I was staying down the street visiting family and just walked in because it was the first place I saw that looked like they served breakfast. The place was very clean and organized. The host was very congenial and invited me to sit anywhere. My server was Olivia and she was delightful. I ordered the 3 egg veggie omelet with cheese. It was done perfectly. The veggies were very fresh. The coffee was good. The service: impeccable. Olivia provided just the right amount of attention. She was accessible without "hovering". I will definitely go back again when I'm in the area. The bill didn't make me feel guilty. When I got back, I told my neice and grandneice about it and they also had a great experience. Great little cafe. Veggie omelette with added jalapeños and awesome multigrain toast was delicious (my husband says). Potatoes had peppers and was good as well. CYO breakfast sandwich, consisting of two eggs and pork roll on brioche was yummy. Portions were substantial. Wait staff was very pleasant. My family has eaten breakfast here since they opened in 2013. Relaxing mood, outdoor seating and inside, if you prefer. Used to be relatively inexpensive but since inflation, the prices are much higher now. I had 3 breakfast tacos and tomato juice, while my son had creamed chipped beef. Both were large servings but were overpriced considering how much I spent in all those years. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20

I know people love UBPH, but this is my favorite breakfast place in OCNJ. They have a nice small menu but with really good food. They have healthy alternatives and classic heart attacks on a plate. They added a covered outdoor area which makes seating even better, especially in the hot sun or the rain. They sometimes have a fly issue they need to find a way to consistently address.

What a great choice for a variety of breakfast food! Right off the Asbury strip sits Sunrise Cafe. They offer inside and outside seating(has enclosure from the elements). All tables are within social distancing procedures. The coffee is great served in their own branded mugs that are available for purchase. I ordered the breakfast empanada sampler. This was a great choice to change up the regular eggs and bacon routine. My wife ordered the biscuits and gravy. She had no regrets. I went on a sat morning around 10am during March and we had no trouble getting a table. I definitely recommend!

The food was awesome and the meal was very filling. The wait staff was very nice and got us everything we asked for and quickly. The Santa breakfast was also very fun for the kids and my youngest was so excited. My only complaint is that I got the sunriser meal which is pictured here that comes with 3 sausage 3, bacon 3 pancakes and 3 eggs as well as hash browns and toast. However the amount of eggs was only about 1, maybe 2 small eggs. I didn't say anything because it was already a lot of food and I didn't finish everything but if I'm paying for 3 eggs it should look like 3 eggs. That being said the bacon, sausage and especially the french toast was super good and I'd honestly go back tomorrow if I lived closer. Make the 3 eggs actually 3 eggs and you get 5 stars for sure.
