We were seated near the kitchen. Lots of loud voices and clanking dishes and banging cookware took away from the ambience. Steak was ordered medium and seemed to be medium rare. Traded with my husband so didn’t say anything to server. Food was delicious!! Server, Jennifer, was marvelous, attentive and respectful. I generally have a really good experience, but this wasn't one of those times. My medium well steak turned into a burnt steak, the server did offer to replace, but it took so long to get the initial meal, I was starved by that time. The hostess were great with seating although we were late for our reservation, and the server did well with what he knew. I wasn't able to apply my VIP points due to not giving the information in time, but I wished that this would of been asked before cashing out the bill. I find when there are less people the service is better. When it is busy service may not be at its best for the price. 8 oz filet was the best I've ever had. Has J.Gilberts and the Capitol Grill beat. My wife had the stuffed shrimp. The place is very upscale. And prices reflect that. Our waiter was very efficient, but a little aloof. Overall experience was very good. I'm definitely coming back. I was able to dine in this restaurant thanks to my job, everything was so great, I loved it! Great atmosphere, we shared a private room I did wish their was a T.V in their to watch the fights and I had to wait for my drink for about 20min… but overall it was a wonderful experience. In anticipation of the New Year, my husband and I opted to celebrate at Sullivan's Steakhouse, drawn in by numerous positive reviews. The ambiance exuded elegance, service earned a solid five stars, cocktails delighted the palate, and the culinary offerings were nothing short of superb. Having frequented McCormick and Schmick’s, I found Sullivan's to share strikingly similar qualities, with exceptional seafood and steak. The chicken, boasting succulence and delectable flavors, added another dimension to the dining experience. Without a doubt, we look forward to returning, and I highly recommend this establishment. This is my 2nd time here for dinner and it is always amazing!! The service is top notch and the food is always delicious. My Daughter and i came here on Christmas and our meal was spectacular!
