Just ordered from here not 10 minutes ago. While the food here is ok, the service can leave a lot to be desired. I am food critic on Google and my words should not be taken lightly.
I ordered a footlong, and when I was almost finished with the order, I mentioned that I would like to buy a pretzel stick. The worker responded rudely that my request inconveniences the entire process of the business and that it would create some hostility. I realized this, and in an attempt to mitigate conflict, I told the man that I would be fine with the sandwich. He refused, persisting on delivering my order, at the expense of his hostile attitude towards myself.
While finishing my order, he yelled that "if you want a pretzel stick, make sure you tell me when ordering the footlong." While I only realized this after I put in my order, his comment made me very uncomfortable, as well as the other customers in the store. It was not my intention to make this man's day so horrible, but it seems his bad attitude already made that the case. Altogether it probably took him an extra 1:30 minutes to cook the pretzel, which I adamantly refused once I noticed his clear attitude.
Further research leads me to believe that this is not the first time he has reacted this way. I was unable to get his name, but those who regularly shop here know who he is. For those interested he is African American, approx. 5ft, 10in, and has a beard and glasses. He looked like he was about 25-35 in age.

just went out to get some lunch because we had a coupon and upon cashing out the coupon was declined and instead of trying to find a way to figure out how to get our discount, we paid full price. but don’t worry! we got a tiny bag of doritos. never again.

i come here most weekdays during breaks between classes since it’s right next to ccsu, and the workers here always make me feel welcome and the food is great, perfect for a quick lunch. the black man (i don’t know his name) is especially nice and always delivers great customer service!

Bread was hard as a rock and no it wasn’t toasted. All the veggies were frozen literally ice on them and the tuna tasted off threw the whole thing out $16 for nothing 😫

The black male that works there is VERY RUDE. Terrible service and gave me a hard time. Ended up telling him to keep the sandwich, I was so turned off!!!
