Oh dear. I had never eaten here before and was looking forward to it. My friend took me for the fixed price lunch. It is $49 and there are 3 entrees to choose from. I didn't find any of them enticing but had to order and chose the fried chicken breast. It came with a small salad but as we didn't find the first course enticing either, we had ordered the salad. No one told us we'd be getting two salads. Surely they can think of something else to put with the chicken if the first course was a salad??? But the real problem was a very dry, overcooked chicken breast. After a few bites we asked for a sauce to add some moisture to get it down. After perhaps 10 minutes our gracious waiter came out with a lemon burre blanc which helped. The lemon tart for dessert was outstanding. The lunch menu is so uninteresting and that shocked me. Need to.improve their quality control in serving and cooking.How that piece of rock,about 2"inches in diameter, appeared on our food we don't know but it could have been avoided.
