This place was a great find. Not overly busy. food was amazing. I try to dine at ma and pa shops whenever I am out of town traveling. everything was great here. Apparently we arrived when the waitress was ending her shift. Would have got dessert, but she never came back and it was hard to cash out. the waitress that started didn't seem too tentative to us. this is the only reason I rated 4 stars for service, but it was by no means bad. Parking was crowded. Easy entry and exit. Lots of decorations to view while waiting. Seating was quick. A slow start to order then drink orders were taken and delivered in a timely fashion. Food order was taken and delivered hot, fresh and delicious. Wait staff were slow on drink refills and had to ask for condiments as the container was empty on the table. Pleasantly suprised with dinner special, fried chicken steak w/gravey potato salad or soup vegetable 😋. The salmon dinner with salad, baked potato and green beans. Great food. Great prices. Great staff. This was not a 5 star gourmet meal but it was a 5 star diner meal in a town that could use a little help. I wanted a Route 66 type roadside small town diner and this exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend if you are looking for the same as I was.
