This establishment just told me that there were not enough staff to complete an order…is that even a thing? I feel like if they had enough staff to tell me that then…?? The “staff” member talked to me like I was an idiot for not understanding. Maybe I am but the fact they they are “open” but not able to serve seems confusing enough to me but hey what do I know. Atmosphere and food were amazing! I want to applaud the service however. My grandmother uses a walker and couldn’t stand up long enough to use the kiosk to see what they had. A worker named Alexis came over to us and offered to tell us everything on the menu to help my grandmother without us asking. The manager Tiara was also so helpful. This was my family's first experience with an "automated" fast food establishment. Ordering was extremely annoying because you haven't anyone to ask questions about the menu. The few stave that interact with clientele has one specific job and cannot do anything else. Overall the food was quite good. The lady who handed out the orders was very polite and really gave our visit any similarity to pleasant, in my opinion. Ordered the butter steak burger and there’s literally a glob of cold butter on my hamburger. Hamburger it self was cold. Cheese fries didn’t have nearly enough cheese. We usually enjoy coming here. Could not give a 5 star rating as they seemed to have changed my fav sandwich..the Frisco melt. I feel like it's the bread that's different. The food taste good and the value for your money is great, but I'm not a fan of the self ordering kiosk. There really isn't any service when someone just calls out your number and you walk up to find your food on a counter. It was also hard to find a clean table to sit at, although many tables were empty. This location changed and for the worst. No hell everything is done by a kiosk now smh. The food was not cooked properly and looked was different from a smash burger. The staff did no walking around. Almost every employee was on there phone. I would not recommend going here if your looking for a great steak and shake location the one in Bradley Park in Columbus is your best bet. Restaurant was clean but not even a quick acknowledgement from the associates when people walk in? I know there are machines now taking orders but customer service should always be a priority. Also, way overpriced for such small portions. I feel like I got the end of the bag of fries. All fries averaged what the pictures show. First and last time trying Steak n Shake. A reliable place to come for a hamburger and good-sized portion of fries. Available on the 4 for $4.44 menu. One of the better locations I've experienced in the southeast. Highest marks to staff, friendly and efficient. Restaurant empty when I visited a little after 4:00 p.m. on a Tuesday.
