This place is good if you're having a hankering for some ramen. I got the Black Garlic Ramen, So So level spicy, I would recommend going up a level in spicy to give it a kick. The pork gyoza's were nice and crispy. I paired my food with a nice hot tea, but they have a variety of drinks, including milk teas.

Tried out Soru at 1130am on a Friday. The dining area is not super large and filled up pretty fast by 1230pm, but I was able to get a table for 1 instantly. The vibe of the restaurant, with anime all over the walls, was very chill.
Based on the super affordable prices, I expected small portions and I was wrong. I got the tonkatsu broth with pork (no onions) and it was excellent. The broth was rich and flavorful. I got the level 2 heat and it was perfect. The spice level goes up to 4, which I assume is nearly nuclear. The pork was perfectly cooked and a good sized portion that really brought the dish together. Outstanding for $11.95.
Because I thought the portion would be smaller I also got the Soru Roll sushi. It came out after the ramen and was clearly fresh made. It was a huge 8 pieces and could've easily split between two people. Flavors were on point.
The server was by himself, so my water never got refilled, but, he was working a full house so I understand.
Overall, excellent spot for ramen or sushi.

Ramen, was delicious. Environment (as a big anime fan) is really fun with all the manga on the walls. Our server even though we ate late at night was still very attentive and the Thai tea was so fresh and not too sweet. I highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Not a whole lot to say about the place, cool one piece anime decorations, super fast service.
We got the sesame balls, cream cheese wonton for appetizers and both were really good.
I got the black garlic Ramen and my brother got the ultimate Ramen, both came out quick and hot, and honestly it was really basic Ramen, nothing stood out I felt like it a something I could of gotten out of a pack.
As for a final review, this was a pass for me, if you're into one piece you'll love it, but as for the food, it's a very basic run of the mill Ramen.

I am quite pleased with the food quality at Soru Ramen.
This restaurant is very close to home and I had been looking forward to trying it for quite some time. Suffice to say that I will definitely be returning to try more of their menu. The inside is fully decorated in anime cartoon fashion, displays of characters chowing down on ramen, of course! Small and intimate but inviting. The service was quick and friendly. Loved that my first Yelp check in included a free boba Thai tea.
Now the food, yummy! I started off with the chicken karagee (not pictured). It was okay. Needs a little more seasoning and a little more color in my opinion. But good nonetheless. The takoyaki I completely fell in love with. Most other establishments only serve them with sauce but here you get the added bonus of a ton of bonito flakes. This just bumps up the flavor ten fold. Both the tiger and dragon rolls were fresh and tasty. The soru Roll was definitely fantastic. Nicely seared fish with a delicious umami smoke flavor. They char the fish on top of the rice so some of the rice also gets nice and charred, yummy deliciousness.
I also got the tonkatsu ramen which I did not take a picture of because I inhaled it too quickly. The salty, fatty pork flavor in the broth was perfect. The chashu and egg were cooked to perfection. The yolk in the egg was still a bit soft and runny, oh man I'm hungry... I left a small amount of broth in my bowl and after a few minutes I started to see the collagen forming around the cold bowl which was definitely a great sign if you know anything about bone broths.
Soru, thank you for the yummy food, I'll see you soon!
