Life with Moni

We enjoyed our mother-daughter day out at Sonny’s BBQ in Brandon. Our server Amber was great. From the time we sat down t the time we left she was very attentive to us. She was polite and suggested things to us. She made sure our glasses stayed full and even joked with us. I loved her personality and her service. We wil request her in our next visit. Amber was our server and she was amazing! Very quick to take our order and food was very out very quick as well. Amber was very attentive during our meal making sure we had all we needed. We purchased two of the specials (Rib combos), and a kids meal and the ribs were so tough that we couldn't even eat them. The beans tasted liked they were poured straight out of the can, and someone poured a whole bottle of BBQ sauce in them and stirred them up. I was truly disappointed in this meal, considering we paid over $30 for it. I don't see myself visiting any Sonny's location in the future. Food was awesome! I once lived in a town that had a Sonny’s and I dined there 2-3 times a week! Sadly, I moved away and the nearest Sonny’s is now 2 miles to the north in Brandon. From time to time, we visit the area for shopping or a fun day outing and a visit to Sonny’s is ALWAYS on the agenda! Today’s visit was exceptionally better than previous and it is all due to our server, Chelsea, whose mannerisms, personality and interactions with my family and other customers was OVER THE TOP and well worth mentioning in this review!
