Excellent Sonic location! Truthfully, I've never had an unpleasant experience at any Sonic location, including this drive in located in Middlesboro. I don't have a Sonic location near my home in Palm Harbor, Florida. It's a real treat to visit Sonic when I visit my partner, who lives in the area. This was my second visit to this location. Both visits were excellent; great service and tasty food! This visit, my partner and I decided to "branch out " and try a new menu item neither of us had ordered previously. We both ordered the cheeseburger combo/meal with fries and our obligatory Route 44 sweet peach tea. Delicious! Sonic has a very nice, tasty cheeseburger! As usual, it was served fast and efficiently via a friendly Carhop. Both of our meals were fresh and the food temperature perfect! Of course, the sweet peach tea was pure "heaven"!! Thanks for a wonderful, delicious experience. I highly recommend this Sonic location ( and the sweet peach tea is a must!!!)

Chili Cheese Coney
We received cold, burnt burgers, half cooked onion rings yesterday. I ended up sick after, as did my dad. He ended up vomiting multiple times. We thoroughly believe the food we received was very old, and the onion rings were undercooked. I do not recommend this location ever.

On 2-9-24. My Husband and I ordered a hot dog and a corn dog with tots the tots were ok but the hot dog bun was dried out and the rest of the hot dog was a total wreck. The workers honestly didn't take pride in making it ( it looked nasty). My corn dog was Luke warm and tasted like old grease. Later we both got 🤮. I will never eat there again nor at any other Sonic and as for recommending Sonic in Middlesboro ky CAN YOU SAY IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN.

The app is always down so you can’t even get half priced drinks, like seriously It’s supposed to make our lives easier. They won’t even adjust the price. And just make excuses saying that they’re not a corporate store and that’s why. You’d be better off going elsewhere.

I'm not sure who the man's name was who took our order, but wow, I'm impressed. This dude read back every single thing I ordered perfect and delivered it hot and fresh and quick to my family and I. If more restaurants around here took the initiative to simply read back your order to make sure it's correct in such a professional manner as this guy did, Middlesboro fast food chains could just bounce back.

I ordered a flavored water (that I paid $2 after all my flavorings and fruit additions) and waited 25 minutes and when the water came there was no flavoring. It was just plain water. Very disappointing.
I'm pretty sure these are supposed to be chicken tenders but I'm also pretty sure they would taste as bad as they look so I didn't try them. A huge waste of money and I was traveling so I didn't get the benefit of giving them back. But service got five stars because they came out fast and we're delivered by a very nice and polite young lady.
