Came in 3 hours before close wanting a simple drip coffee and was told they wouldn’t make any more because they had been busy and just finished with a rush? When we tried to say we weren’t in a rush and could wait, they changed the story and said it was broken… ridiculous, how do they have such good reviews? Service: 1

Not beatable. Broccoli cheese soup was so thick it would fall off the spoon , I order it in a bread bowl. By husband had a bowl of same servived in a cup . It was just as thick. They crackers, I guess to eat as a dip.... I took 2 bites of my bread bowl lid. That was it . Even after I as fot a container and took them it was unbeatable. They said nothing. Don't eat at smoky road in Pleasantville iowa. Not happy with them. Each time I go it gets a little worse . Don't really eat there, but the drinks and service are fantastic. Great small town coffee shop with newly remodeled interior that creates a cozy atmosphere. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ever since going to school in Pella and living in Des Moines, I have loved visiting all the Smokey Row locations. The original always feels like home. I love the food, drinks, and pastries. Although I have experienced a few drinks errors or have had poor wait times, the workers are always sincere and will fix any issues. Messed up my order a lot. I didn’t receive my drink for 20 minutes. My drink was wrong, when I said something about it they still didn’t give me the right order.
