My husband and I LOVE barbecue. We travel often and always try to find great food wherever we go. When I tell you Smoke Sessions is top tier, I'm not exaggerating. They went from a food truck to a whole amazing restaurant. It was our first time trying out the restaurant and here's our 2 cents...
The Finch Burger is probably the best burger we have ever had (and we are foodies). I made an audible sound when tasting this Burger. 20/10.
I had the chopped brisket sandwich. So lean, so juicy (hard to do!) . The house made bbq sauce is AMAZING.
Fired okra- not greasy at all, more okra than breading, flavors were perfect.
Bloody Mary- perfectly spiced 🤌
The burger and sandwich were $12 each, which is amazing considering the quality *and* quantity of meat you're getting.
All in all...if you find yourself in our little town of Royse City, make the time. This place is the best bbq around.

Brisket Beans
My friends and I tried this place for the first time last week, and yall gained new customers!!! The brisket and the mac and cheese were the best items, in my opinion! The green beans were delicious as well! You could tell they were fresh green beans that were used!!! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great!!! I can't wait to come back and have more!!! 🤤

HANDS DOWN BEST FOOD WE’VE EVER HAD! Every single thing on the menu is to die for! We just had 1/2 pound of turkey, 1/2 pound of brisket and we didn’t even need any bbq sauce, THATS HOW GOOD THE MEAT IS! Although their bbq sauce is AMAZING and you could easily drink with a straw! You have to order their egg rolls with the amazing creamy, tangy, crunchiness I dream about after I leave until I return and have them again! The street corn is a must as well but I would recommend 2 orders since the order only comes with three cobs and you and your husband will be fighting over the last one!
We also ordered their fried pickles for the first time and BEST PICKLES IVE EVER HAD! We got ranch with them but didn’t even open the ranch because they were that good! BASICALLY EVERYTHING IS AMZING AND YOU SHOULD EAT IT ALL! We always have multiple boxes to go since we can never make our mind up and it is even as good the next day! Sometimes we even eat it cold! Also they have outdoor seating so my husband and I eat and savor every bite in peace while our feral children run a muck in their yard area! WE LOVE THIS PLACE! The owners and all of the employees are the friendliest people we’ve ever encountered and you can tell they love their jobs!

Finch Burger
This barbecue is SO GOOD!! They are not stingy with anything so I normally split a brisket sandwich with someone. Their potato salad is delicious and creamy and their mac n cheese is spiraled and cheesy! You have to try their fried banana pudding as well! The employees are so nice and polite and always give good recommendations.

Sliced Brisket Sandwich
Chad and his team are the absolute best!!! We ordered a smoke turkey and ham for thanksgiving and when I tell you I’ve gotten more compliments on my food this year then ever!! He definitely saved my thanksgiving. They are by far the best bbq place in the state and I stand on that. I highly recommend you give them a try.

Great brisket and okra, the wing were not my favorite, but my husband liked them. The sauce was tasty and the staff was very friendly.

Not sure why I waited so long to try Sessions. The food was amazing. Everything meshed so well, and the brisket and burger just melted in your mouth. Service is a little slow but being made to order, I’ll take it! The country music playing wasn’t your standard mainstream music and so that why atmosphere is 3 stars.

BBQ Sauce
Came in to pick up lunch to-go, service is fast and friendly and they're very generous with the portions. Finch burger is juicy and flavorful with a generous amount of brisket, i wish it had mote sauce though, but it's a small issue. Mac and cheese is amazing, got bits of brisket in there, the small container was very filling for both me and my husband. The brisket is good too, great rub. I think it's best to eat it at the restaurant though, it dried out a bit on the drive home.
