I went to Smokepit BBQ on yesterday. I drove from Florence, South Carolina because I heard about this place. Very clean Restaurant, Great Professional Staff and to top it off, THE FOOD WAS OFF THE CHAIN..If you want to taste the secret ingredient in the Bar- Be- Cue. Go to the Smokepit. Definitely a stopping spot coming home from the beach! This no-frills, grab and go community favorite has daily items that fill your tank and your soul. For those of us that seek out great local bbq, this is a gem. The friendly owners talk us through the daily items and advised us on the way to order. Plan to eat in the car or bring a blanket for under the shade trees, seating is limited. Bring your cash or venmo, no credit cards used here. Go check them out! After reading the reviews my family and I decided to check the Smoke Pit out and they did not disappoint. The owner and staff were warm, welcoming and the bbq was some of the best I've ever had. The mac n cheese was top notch as well. If you're in the area do NOT second guess stopping here for a wonderful and memorable meal.
