My buddy and I stopped by Skyloft for some impromptu brunch and we had a great time! We came before one of the recent storms so it was a little dead, but that only meant the service was that much better for us! Since the spot was sparsely packed, we got the best service. Our waiter let us choose our table, we chose the other side that wasn’t even open yet, and he was tending to us and made the overall experience so personable. Overall we had a great time and the brunch was delicious. The next time I am back in the area I would love to try out the rooftop! I’ll definitely be coming back. Hands down terrible if I could rate the food a zero I would because I was never served food besides a glass with some water. It was the day after valentines day and since my girlfriend and I have not eaten out in a while I decided on somewhere nice that wasn't to expensive but had a beach view. The place was on top of a roof right in-front of the water and it had a beautiful view. Once we arrived the host one young guy and an older women were nice but the place was dead and they both were wearing designer like PA and CD which I thought was out of the equation of attire to wear to work. We continued up the stairs where there was till nobody in the restaurant, so we made it to the top and once we arrived I asked a server if we needed to be seated or we seat our self and he said something in the nature of "yes, just go anywhere". Once I heard that I was like I don't like this place already especially being a server myself that's not how you address guests especially if they are basically paying your living expenses. So we sat down and I told my girlfriend I would go to the restroom and be right back, there was only one restroom and somehow a line even though there was no one else in the building, so I waited and when I went in the bathroom it wasn't the best. I left the restroom and walked around and noticed it was attached to other buildings but it has chairs blocking them and the other building looked abandoned which didn't seem like a way to present the business itself. So I went back upstairs and I sat down and someone had dropped off water and menus. We figured out what we wanted to eat almost immediately and waited for about 10 minutes as we watched 6 servers huddle around the bar and talk and watch a couple of them seat guests and talk to the previous guests they had. So when a server walked by I said excuse me and he ignored me and another server walked by and I asked again excuse me can we be helped and was ignored again. So after another 5 minutes I told her let's get up and leave which we did and watched the servers stare at us like we did something wrong. That's how we resolved that problem. First time experiencing this restaurant in Laguna Beach. They had a good customer service and the quality of their food was great. We’ve been there on Saturday night and they had a live band which was amazing and something different. I’d highly recommended this place! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Atmosphere, view and service were great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food however was just soso, i ordered fish and chips but the fish wasn’t delicious or soft, didn’t melt.
