Nice little cafe. Waitress was very attentive. Nice atmosphere overall. The food was pretty basic, but not bad. The main issue is the price. The food is expensive for what you get, especially the sides. A side of fries or eggs or even bacon is expensive and can range from $3-$7 depending on what sides you get that doesnt come with a meal. It cost me and my wife over $40 for two basic meals of pancakes eggs and bacon.

My husband and I came across Skipper's while visiting the area. We we highly impressed with the food (mushroom omelet for him and the kielbasa breakfast for me). The grits were out of this world and so buttery. Get the ginormous biscuit, you won't regret it. The folks and staff who run Skipper's are super personable and happy to make sure you enjoy your meal.

As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with huge smiles and big hellos! My 3 year old son was spoiled with treats before we even sat down! He was gifted a skippers t-shirt and what seems like $2 in quarters with all the treats he got from the little machines! The service we received from Russell was unbelievable! He was extremely engaging with our whole group and what ever we needed we got as soon as we asked! The food was incredible and came out fresh and hot! This little family owned business is one of a kind and definitely made you feel at home! We can’t wait to come back!
