I felt the need to review the Sinkhole in reference to an incident that occurred on 3/1/24. Food, drinks were good and servers were all friendly. Other patrons, not so much.
While enjoying ourselves another customer came up to my husband, who is African American (I am white), telling him that he would be afraid of him in the parking lot, so since he doesn’t want to get mugged, proceeded to hand my husband his wallet and before walking away rubbed his hair. Yes, you read that correctly! First thought, who is this guy and does my husband know him? Second thought are you freaking kidding me?! Time went by and my husband had a chat with this person & recommended he apologize to me, as I was upset. That should have been the end of it.
Later a few others joined us and we were chatting about how 28+ years ago my husband tried to set me up with a friend. We were having a good laugh about it, when the wife of the guy who touched my husband, interjected about how we can talk about that, but her husband gets talked to about what he did. Quite some time had passed. Was I still upset about the racist, inappropriate incident, you bet your butt. Did I yell at her? Yes! Was I loud while explaining what her husband did? Yes. If she didn’t know what this was about why did she say anything.
There are things that you don’t say, especially to people you don’t know. And you DO NOT TOUCH OTHER PEOPLE. Especially a Black person’s hair. There is no room for that ignorance. The bartenders and servers at the Sinkhole were amazing, understanding and acted just how I hoped they would. Thank you to the staff for their quick response.

We used to come here all the time to watch football and get wings. Unfortunately, we went last night for a late night bite. The wings were okay, frankly appeared as though they were frozen out of a bag, but the sauce was good and it was all very timely. Again- late night bite, so we weren't expecting gourmet.
It was an incident that occurred at the bar and the way it was handled by the staff that was less than desirable. It was very clear that the other party were regulars because as soon as I spoke up regarding an issue, the other patron screamed at me and I was quickly given my check.
I still don't know what ANY of this was about, and frankly I don't care, but the way we were treated by the bartenders was rude and dismissive. I paid the bill, left a 20% tip and left the bar area to go bowl.
At one point, I did go back into the bar to apologize, because I absolutely did not want to cause trouble, but was talked to like a child and told "to not let it ruin my night." I also attempted to get water and was told I had to go by a bottle- I am sorry, but I just spent $70 on fried food and drink and now you cannot give me water?
Overall- just not a great experience and don't know that we will be back.

Our hockey team came in without reservations and unexpected. The staff handled it with ease, were very helpful and friendly, and the food was great. Highly recommend!

Avoid at all costs!!!!
Food was served cold, waited 1.5 hrs for only half our parties food order to arrive, ran out of time waiting before we had to go to our booked bowling, 2 hrs later their only solution was to knock 10% off our bill and box the remaining meals up and bring them to the bowling alley.(who wants to eat while bowling that’s disgusting) explains this to the only manager available( I’m sure she was only a senior server) she just shrugged her shoulders and said that all she could do. Halfway through are first game the rest of the food arrived. Absolutely appalling service and even worse customer care.
