My family and I stopped in at lunchtime. We ordered coconut shrimp, fried shrimp and catfish- Taste fresh, cooked well … They also provided us with their homemade the cocktail sauce and tartar sauce. Outstanding! We also left with desserts- the Key Lime and cherry cheesecake . The Key lime pie was delicious. Amazing food and outstanding services. Come here when I pick up my kids and take them periodically. The food surpasses my expectations and the services there is superb. Last visit was on the 23rd of February and this experience was an exception. I had a gentleman take my order and accidentally made some marginal errors. However, what made this young man exceptional was how he addressed his mistake and what appropriate action necessary to not cause any issue and if issue was present to not escalate it. This type of work ethic is hard to come by especially with this modern age and time when new generation of workers wants to be on their phone and collect checks. I hope to see him again because I would like to personally reward him for hard working ethics and upholding responsibilities and accountability. Also, to the older gentleman that skipped the line to get a bucket of beer, I hope you served this country. If not, that was very rude and privileged to not even ask a veteran with his kids if he was in line or not and just went ahead and skip the line. Absolutely amazing place to sit and eat. The food was amazing, the service was fast and the atmosphere was great. Definitely will be back to sit outside when the weather warms up. Shrimp N Stuff should be on the MUST visit list for Galveston. We went twice on our weekend trip because it was so delicious. Add a cup of gumbo as an upcharge side to the shrimp po'boy! We came on a not-too-busy Friday night. It took a while to order since some employees were towards the back chatting and on their phones. The fried catfish was good, but the fries and boudin balls were lacking (/mid). We read good reviews and were excited to try it out, but we were a little disappointed in the quality of service and the food itself. I don’t think we would come back to this location, but I would be curious to see if the other location is significantly different than this one.
