Come here for some rest after a long walk around Gatlinburg Convention Center. Try nicely cooked catfish, steaks and burgers. This restaurant is proud of tasty French toasts, pancakes and biscuits. The great location of Shoney's makes it easy to reach by any transport. It's nice to taste great coffee. Courteous employees are the only thing that can spoil your evening at this place. As users indicate, adequate prices might disappoint you a little. Enjoy the cozy atmosphere here. But google users rated this spot and it didn't achieve a high rating.

We ate breakfast here when other places nearby were 1 and 2 hour waits. We waited about 15 to 20 minutes. The food, while basic, was hot and fresh. The staff did a great job getting people in and out quickly and with a smile! I only wish they had more healthy breakfast items. But, I also understand that most people want the basic staples they offer. It's a small space, but the setup works. I loved the ramp vs stairs, up to the buffet with my bad knee, after walking all weekend around town. Great job to the staff, all smiles, they cleared the tables quickly and kept things moving. Very small restaurant. You sit on lower level & if you eat from the buffet you have to go up a ramp upstairs to fix your plates. Plus the restroom is upstairs. Waitress was very nice. Very disappointing for a restaurant on the strip. Although, I can enjoy breakfast all day. The product availability was a disappointment. The grits were extremely runny, eggs taste like power eggs, food was cold, and when asked about turkey products. Servers stated we always get ask, but only pork on the menu and fried chicken 🍗. Personal, I like fried chicken, but I don't want it for breakfast. We arrived late to our stay at the Regan Inn, and this place was right in front. The food was great, and our server was awesome. We didn't feel rushed to leave like we did at other places. The place was small, but clean and quiet. Nice reprieve from the road. We will definitely go back again. Why is this a 3.7? It's a great place with welcoming staff and great food! We got the buffet style meal, and it's essentially a continental style hotel breakfast, but taken up a notch. I was most impressed with the bacon, which, for being cooked in mass, was perfectly cooked. A small army of a family came in (had to be a dozen of them), and the staff was prompt in setting up tables for them. I was very impressed with the operation of this establishment. There are many places in Gatlinburg that serve breakfast, but they all seem to be pretty booked and had an hours line out the door. This place was a great little sit-down restaurant with a breakfast buffet at a great price. There was no way and the food was great. The breakfast food is wonderful, we made it just in time after we woke up. The buffet option is quick and easy, and the food was appetizing. Quite a small building though, not such a good atmosphere and feels rushed because of all the people that line up to get seated. Not many seats.
