I drive from Pittsburgh. 3.5 hours away to eat here. Since I found this restaurant (Oct , 2023) I have been there no less than 6 times (March 9th, 2024). Shady Maple is the destination! All of the other lovely offerings and sights of the area are secondary when I travel to enjoy this amazing food. You will not be disappointed.

Good food ,good variety too, brisket was great !, the ambiance was good lot of people but not lines to get the food, only thing l didnt like was to eat close to people carrying guns😒, are them so insecure that need to carry them even to a restaurant??, maybe afraid to get their fried Chicken stolen??? 🤣 just wondering...
Food is so good, there is something for every taste.

I’m a fan of this place because their selection is great. In Harrisburg we don’t have many buffet style restaurants with American food so this was a lovely trip to take with the family. My favorite thing about this place is their drink selection, everything from juice to soda to icees to coffee to cappuccinos. They also have an extensive dessert selection as well. The only reasons they don’t get a full five stars is there is no direction there. With the amount of people that are always there I would think it would be very beneficial for them to have some kind of signage to direct people which way to travel for the buffet lines. Every time I go there is someone there with an attitude about how someone skipped them in line or something along those lines. So with that being said be prepared for at least a 20-30 minutes wait if you decide to go on the weekends. Atmosphere gets 5 stars because their gift shop is truly top tier.

Went there last Saturday on my birthday. It was nice, the food was good. It was crazy full, people were lined up the whole way outside the building but the lines moved very fast, only waited like 20 minutes. Cute gift shop below the restaurant, has a lot of cool stuff!
