Came with my girlfriend's family and really enjoyed the food and the service! Rachel S. was our server and she did great! Very helpful with the food allergies we had at the table , and ensured everything came out correctly and arrived on time. Would drive 4 hours to eat here again with Rachel as the server. Excellent service from Rachel S! Coming from someone else in the service industry, she nailed every point a waitress could hit. Friendly, attentive, super helpful! All around great. The food was a hit! First time trying grits and they did not disappoint. The atmosphere is lovely, cozy, without being crowded, and very welcoming. Will definitely come back again! Great staff, variety of food and plenty of vegan options. Perfect brunch spot for those in the area! Ensure you join a waitlist via Yelp if you plan on going on the weekends! Food was great, they had a good bit of choices you can choose from starting with breakfast, lunch, and brunch. What I had is a chicken and waffle. Waffle was amazing, chicken meat was nice and juicy but skin was okay, not the best. My date had a combo. Would I go back yes, just to try another option. But other than that. I went here for the first time recently and was pleasantly surprised. They had some wonderful dishes at a reasonable price. Good atmosphere and great service. Edit: To be more specific, I have been here 3 times now. I am the type of person that asks for the wait staff's favorite meal and that is what I will go with because I love trying new things. If the employee says they don't have a favorite, immediate red flag. The servers at Seven Mile not only answered my question with a smile but each gave me multiple options that tells me they like the food and were happy to recommend it. On top of that I drink ice water, and I go through it really fast. Not once was my cup empty before being refilled that I can remember. All in all, everyone seemed happy to be there and that made for an enjoyable experience. P.s. - How awesome is it that a business asks me to give more details so they can compliment their employees in a more direct way? I will be sure to get names next time I go in and edit my reviews accordingly. (This is slowly becoming one of my favorite spots, keep up the amazing work!)
