We prefer to avoid chain restaurants and were eager to try out this locally owned eatery. We were not disappointed! The nachos were over the top and I appreciated the selection options when ordering the meat platters. Staff was extremely friendly and the restaurant was very clean. I think this place has a lot of potential! Outside view is awesome! Maybe smoke the meats outside to have the smell draw people in? Location is a bit off the road, so maybe add some signs/advertising by the road for people driving by? What about dinner discounts (2 Dinners & free Pie?) We love BBQ being from the southeast so we stopped in off the road when we saw a BBQ place on our route hoping to get a much needed refill.
We should have taken the empty parking lot as a sign of things. We ordered a pulled pork and brisket sandwich and some cheesy potatoes.
Nothing seemed fresh the brisket was soggy for some reason , seemed mostly fat, bread on sandwich was soggy. The sauces were not very good or spicy for my taste. The potatoes were hard yet flavorless. The staff was mostly teenagers and seemed able to perform the basics. Pulled pork was the worst pulled pork I've ever had.
The place seemed clean but its easy to keep it clean when it's empty .
If your looking for soggy flavorless BBQ you can eat by yourself in an empty store this is the place for you.

Visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon where plenty of seats were available. I gave the 1/2 lb of brisket (priced at 13,25 USD) along with a side salad (priced at 4,50 USD) a try. The brisket was good taking all facts into account. The staff (esp. Rigby) were very friendly.

WOW!! Easily the BEST barbecue I've had in Colorado and precisely as good as anything that I've had down in the Hill Country in Texas.
The Brisket had a perfect bark with a nice and Smoky oak taste, the ribs were perfect tug of the bone clean and the sausage was on point!
Service was very friendly, attentive and helpful, and the atmosphere looks like a Rudy's Country store (in a good way).
