Don’t even think about coming to Humboldt county without a trip to seascape! I have been coming here since I was tiny and my grandparents lived in town. They have the best views, the best service and the best hot chocolate. There’s some new spots in town but they don’t even come close to Seascape. Don’t miss out - and get blackberry pancakes if you can! Then take a walk down the pier and you’ll be reminded of just how blessed we are to live in such a beautiful place. Perfect place to enjoy a meal and a lovely view. It is located right by the ocean with access to the beach. Service was very kind, and food came out quickly. We had the fish and chips (full order), a bowl of clam chowder, and the surfrider (country fried steak skillet). The chowder was great, full of clams, and very creamy. The fish and chips nice large pieces and not heavy battered, the fish was the main star. It was all about the gravy for the skillet, everything else on it was the normal for country fried steak. Was told by many this is the place to go for a good meal in Trinidad. Nice little restaurant on the water. Portions are small but good. The salad with added crab unfortunately fell short that is why only 4 stars. My husband said the clam chowder is the best and the fish and chips were wonderful.
