We have eaten here twice now and again yesterday, we probably won't be back. the food is great but unfortunately had a misunderstanding with the menu which was our fault but wasn't handled well by the manager working she ended up making the waitress and my girlfriend cry. What happened was we ordered the shrimp tempura roll not knowing there was crab, it came out my girlfriend sent it back and was brought out the wrong thing again we just took it as that and asked for the menu to reorder. We reorder the same roll without the crab. The manager came over and asked what the situation was, she explained to us that we had a perfectly good sushi roll and it didn't make sense why we are ordering another one I explained what happened and the manager said it would be going on the servers ticket so I just offered to pay for it all at this point it wasn't worth the hassle. The poor waiter came back looked like she was crying and explained it wasn't our fault her boss just went off on her and wasn't nice. As I asked for To go boxes right away because by the time my girl friend was in the car feeling guilty the manager continued to be rude to the waitress. Thank you to that waitress I know it's not easy working in the food business! Also for your boss to try and blame it on you during the conversation was wrong so many things could have been handled better in this situation. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

A best kept secret in my opinion! Huge sushi menu and if you’re not a sushi fan I recommend the Razorback, which is hot & cooked with fish inside. Sushi for non sushi people. But the menu is extensive so everyone should be able to find something I think! The staff is nice and it’s a fun vibe. Not too fancy but a little bit of charm. It’s become a regular for us! Absolutely delicious. I chose a dinner bento box with teriyaki chicken, California rolls, and orange chicken. Their salad is amazing. Prices are average. Service was a little off but not terrible. I think she was just having a total Monday. First time there and definitely going back. It's a must try. Enjoy. I love sushi and was in town and it was recommended by friends so wanted to try it out. The place is nice, seemed pretty clean, and the service was nice as well. Ordered a 3-sushi roll Bento Box that came with additional sides. Everything tasted pretty good. A few of the items were a little colder than I would expect, but overall the flavor was still pretty good. Not as good as some other sushi places that I have been to that are in the same price range, but overall it was still pretty good, and I wouldn't mind coming back. We came at an off-peak time, so there was close-up parking. The hostess opened the door and greeted us as we approached the building. The lighting and decorations are so inviting and make for a unique experience. Our waiter was very attentive to our needs at the table. The food was delicious, and portions were perfect. We shared a Bento box with 3 options and didn't leave hungry. With the meal and hot tea, our price was right at $15 each. It is a great price for a wonderful dining experience. $$$ for the really good sushi rolls and Bento boxes it is $15 and up. I had the Hamachi roll which was excellent, and the Jalapeno Bomb, plenty left over for 1 person, or enough to feed 2. The Miso soup was small and luke warm, but tasty. The music was Jazz, not what I want to hear in a Japanese restaurant. Is a great place for sushi, warn sake, sapporo beer. On this occasion, they were understaffed, but the food was on time and service a bit slow but great. Is my favorite place for sushi and more. This was my first time here and my first time eating sushi and I was very pleased with both experiences. I went with my server's suggestion of a bento box of two selections. With tempura shrimp and salmon roll, both were outstanding in taste and very fresh. Service was spot on, I could not have been more pleased with my first experience. Quite lovely decor as well. Today was our first time at Sakura. We will definitely be return customers!!! We all had bento box dinners and were thoroughly impressed. The restaurant lets you upgrade to one of the special rolls if you like. This was done of the best sushi I've ever had, and I travel all over the US including to coastal places. The wait staff was excellent, fun to talk to, and super nice. Highly recommended!!! 10/2/22: came back and had the lobster tail roll. Amazing once again!!!
