It’s a small, very simple place in a strip mall, but they’ve got really good food. I’ve been coming here for about a year and I’ve always enjoyed my meals here. Decent prices, friendly staff, and open til 9:00 through the week is a plus. Definitely will continue to visit Royal Biryani for delicious Indian food! ❤️ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Amazing food, the service is great. "BK" is the man. He's very relaxed and personable while being on top of the whole dining room. My wife and I love coming here. They're so nice and the food is the best Indian I've had in CLT. Atmosphere is what you would expect in a hole in the wall. It's clean, and pleasant, but not fairly basic. I like to categorize places like this as a hole in the wall restaurant. It's just a little inconspicuous Indian restaurant that delivers on the delicious cuisine their culture is known for. The food was mediocre. I got the butter chicken but it tasted really bland and the flavors were not developed. The sauce tasted very commercial and generic. I also ordered the Papad and specifically asked for both the tamarind sauce and mint sauce, and I didn’t get either of them. The Garlic Naan was fine, but it’s not enough to make me want to return, especially for $27. If you do decide to get food here, I highly recommend getting it to go.
